I found an interesting article on msnbc.com. The link I sent to my twin brother said, "Having a male twin can reduce woman's fertility. Women who have a male twin are less likely to marry and have children, perhaps because of being exposed to their brother's testosterone for nine months in the womb, researchers reported."

And then came my twin's reply via email: "And males twins are more prone to drink to excess and mumble to themselves, due to having been subjected to female criticism prior to birth..."

Smarty pants. :)

Yes, what a riot, my brother. :) It is cool to have a twin! Well, most of the time...just kidding. Really all of the time.

Great posts and blog.

Fun stuff. Some of your ideas could be put into a 3 part sermon to reach out to seekers and the lost for Christ. The “I’m and Atheist” video is great.

Anne, if it's not too much trouble can I ask you something?

I'm frustrated with my blog. As a pastor of a large church, I have close to 1,000 readers a day on my blog, but still have a very low authority on Technorati. I want people to see this beyond North Carolina, but I guess I don't know how to get people to link and that seems to be the issue. I mean, I’ve learned that this is because I don’t have enough links to my blog site.

Why does this matter? Because I want to start reaching out to people beyond just the church, and to do that I need to get this blog up higher on the search engines.

I was wondering if you would be willing to put in a link exchange with me at www.robsingleton.net. If so, please send me an email to robtherev@gmail.com showing me where you’ve linked it and I will do the same. I know you will want to make sure we are on the up and up, so please check out our church, www.southbrookchurch.com and my blog to see if you would be comfortable with doing this. I've seen enough and know that I am.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Wait a minute. I drink and mumble but I'm not a twin. What gives?

Rob, I think if we were to do more to reach out to the lost, one good thing would not calling them the lost. Somehow I think that term would rankle a bit. I'd be glad to link to your blog.

Mike - sorry you don't have the very convenient excuse for drinking and mumbling that my twin brother does. Perhaps we could invent an imaginary pre-birth twin for you....that would drive anyone to drink and stumble over words I should think.
