I have been mulling this same thought over in my head lately. I recently listened to a CD, "Meditation on the Present Moment" by Thich Naht Hahn, and this is a thought that he brought to mind. Often Christians feel that they have to die to enter the Kindgdom of God, when really it is all around us, but often we miss it. People don't love people anymore, and simple things in nature that God has given us is lost on our hustling and bustling. I am searching for and supporting the Kindgodm on Earth. Although God wants us to be ready for eternity, I don't think there's anything wrong with totally enjoying the journey on Earth and breathing in the present moment.
